According to the relevant requirements of the "National Professional Standardization Technical Committee Management Regulations" (GBB [2009] No. 3), the term of the fourth National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC114) expires and preparations for the re-election work have begun. Members of the Fifth National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee are now openly solicited from all relevant units. The relevant matters are notified as follows:

(1) Scope of solicitation

SAC/TC114 is mainly responsible for national trucks, off-road vehicles, dump trucks, towing vehicles, special vehicles, passenger cars, cars and automobile trains (including semi-trailers and full trailers), motorcycles and electric vehicles and terminology, product classification, Standardization work in professional fields such as technical requirements and test methods, and formulation and revision of national standards in corresponding product fields. Undertake the standardization technical work corresponding to the International Organization for Standardization ISO/TC22, ISO/TC177, and the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC/TC69. Professionals from management departments, industry organizations, institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutes, testing institutions, production enterprises and other units in related fields are now recruited as committee candidates.

(2) Member conditions

1. Standardization management personnel and technical experts in the automotive field are familiar with the professional business and standardization work, and have a high theoretical level and rich practical experience;

2. In-service personnel who have intermediate or above (including intermediate) professional and technical titles and have been engaged in related work for 5 years or more;

3. Familiar with and enthusiastic about standardization work, abide by the charter of the technical committee, actively participate in various activities organized by the technical committee, and fulfill the obligations of the committee members (referring to the ability to solicit comments on the standard on time, send feedback on the draft for review, participate in standard letter review and meeting review, and Standardization work training and other related activities, etc.);

4. Have a good level of writing and foreign language;

5. The employer agrees to the recommendation.

(3) Application procedures and requirements

1. Adopt the method of unit recommendation or individual application, and the unit recommendation, and the member candidates fill in the "National Professional Standardization Technical Committee Member Registration Form" (see attachment).

2. The member registration form shall be reviewed and signed by the recommending unit with the official seal of the unit.

3. Before December 13, 2015, please make 2 copies of the paper material of the member registration form (with official seal), and attach 3 2 inch color photos (one of which is used to make the member's certificate) with the same bottom and the front side without a hat. Mail it to the Secretariat of the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee, and send the electronic file of the member registration form to the Secretariat’s email address: liweijing@catarc.ac.cn.

4. According to relevant regulations, the Secretariat will organize an evaluation team to comprehensively evaluate the candidate units and personnel information, determine the list of members of the Fifth National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee, and report to the National Standardization Management Committee for review and approval.
